On Wednesday I went to Heidelberg with two friends. We bascially had agreed on visiting an old city during our summer vacation, and our original idea had been Germersheim. Why we enventually went to Heidelberg is still not that clear to me. But it was fun. We started our day with being tourists, that means we looked at the castle and enjoyed the panorama from the Philosophenweg, on the opposite part of the Neckar than the old quarter of Heiddelberg. Something I should also note is that I didn't take many pictures because most of the things simply looked too "familiar" to me. I can't really understand why Heidelberg is such a famous city

I forgot mentioning this on here before, but I've been to Berlin in mid-May, and I took a lot of pictures (of course). There are already some on my DA, but I'll upload those I'd like to be on here over the next two weekends. I hope you enjoy them.

From tomorrow on I'll be staying in France for a week because I'm taking part in an exchange program. I'm super excited and I already "street-viewed" through the village I'm going to live in. What I can tell you so far is that it's a very small village, north of Dijon (Burgundy), there's a beautiful church, an awesome landscape of forests and field around it, no curbs - typically old. I'll try to update my profile as soon as possible, but maybe that'll be by the 16th February, because my exchange partner will stay with me in the second week of February.
